A fanciful garden scene to brighten your winter day! Grace's Garden is clearly one of my favorite sets from the SU! Occasions mini catalog. I love the way that you can cut out all the elements with the bundled Garden Gateway dies. To give it a softer look, I stamped the images in Soft Suede, rather than Black Memento ink. You have to be a little more careful with your watercoloring, but I think that it's worth the effort.
For the "sky" that you see through the garden gate, I sponged my own. Using two punchies from the Scallop punch, adhered them by the ends, angling them a bit into a slight "v" shape. Sponging Pool Party ink lightly along the scallops, and making sure to leave bits of white card stock showing, move the "v" across and down the piece of white card stock
