This card was a bit like bringing forth a baby -- so many pieces that took so long to put together! The big take away from this card is that for the large sunflower, I first cut the sunflower out of Honey Bee using the Sunflower dies, then I sponged Pumpkin Pie onto the Old World Paper 3D embossing folder, than put the Honey Bee die cut in the folder and ran in through my Big Shot. The result was a rough, crumpled bit of texture -- love it! Putting on a lacy over-cut of the sunflower over top of the crumpled base really gives it a cool look. In addition, the smaller sunflower, vines and the large background pieces of leaves are die cut, then run through in the folder.
The center of the large sunflower is a small piece of Cinnamon Cider run through the Tin Tile embossing folder. I cut out one of the central "starbursts," cut it out, then mounted it in the center of the sunflower on Dimensional, running my nail around the edges to "tuck" it under the outer part of the center -- which I've layered about 1,000 SU! earth toned beads (retired).
The sentiment is taken from Good Morning Magnolia and die cut with the double-ended banner from the new Tasteful Labels dies (love!). The border on the two larger pieces of DSP is my current fav, the small dots border from Ornate Borders dies.
