Inter-Office Mail

This all started with the old inter-office mail closure.

I really wanted to do a manila envelope, but couldn't make it work without the card ending up really huge.  So I gave up on the envelope, and kept the closure.  My second option was to create a background with texture.  I pulled out my old favorite Print Pattern (sadly retired for so many years!) started messing with it.  I ended up with Bumble Bee ink on So Saffron card stock.  Then wanting even more texture, I fussy cut the edges of the harlequin pattern, sponged them with More Mustard, then backed it with Bumble Bee card stock.

To do the closure, I first cut a quarter off the the Print Pattern background, reversed it and adhered it to a layer of Cajun Craze.  I cut two Cajun Craze circles with the 3/4" punch, then anchored them with two oversized brads to the card stock.  A piece of linen thread finished up the look!
